AIMS Photos

Last week I went to AIMS Games down in Tauranga for Gymnastics. Unfortunately there are no photos of me doing Gymnastics, but we have got team photos of me and the Netball team (and me at the Mall)    ;)

My Talent Show Act

For the Talent Show I put together a gymnastics/dance routine. I started off big with a front kick and pin followed by a split jump, I then did a little dance before doing a backward walkover to stand. It had taken me a while to decide what music, and then of course the time it took to put the routine together. But overall I think I did reasonably well for all the time it took! Plus I gut a bag of Picnics which is a big bonus!

At the Talent Show, a whole group of us Intermediate kids did a glow stick dance. Watch the whole thing below.

Robotics Short Course

In intermediate, we have one class three times a week called Short Course.

 However this class is very special because we get to choose it.

We are given the option between multiple different classes such as Wood Work, Marketing, Art, Robotics and many more interesting subjects.

 These classes change every term so we have an extremely wide variety of choice.

 For my Term 2 Short Course I chose Robotics.

 In this Short Course we were given a remote control car with no batteries or remote, we were then told how to connect all the wires with this silvery stuff that we melted and then used like hot glue.

 This proved to be much more difficult than any of us would have guessed. 

By the end of the term must of had a working remote controlled car.

Netiquette
